To turn on iCloud Music Library:

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Edit > Preferences.
  3. Go to the General tab and select iCloud Music Library to turn it on. If you don't subscribe to Apple Music or iTunes Match, you won't see an option to turn on iCloud Music Library.
  4. Click OK.

Quick answer as to how this should have been done if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.

1) Double-click on the missing song (s) from iTunes. 2) In the pop-up window that appears, click on the blue Locate button. 3) Use the Finder navigation window that appears to find the music file associated with the song youโ€™re trying to play. 4) Keep opening folders until you find the actual song file, then click on the Open button.

If you are on a Mac, you simply need to go to the Finder and from the menu at the top of your screen, select โ€œGoโ€ -> Home -> Music -> iTunes. Following these steps will take you directly to where your iTunes library stored and give you access to all the files stored within. You can the quickly access a song stored in iTunes directly from the file system of your respective operating system as such.

Then you should be able to see the "missing Apple Music songs" come back in iTunes. If not, try solution 2. Solution 2. Check the "iCloud Music Library" Option in iTunes. Step 1. Launch iTunes and then open the "Preferences" window. Step 2. Select the "General" tab and you will find "iCloud Music Library" under "Library Name". Step 3. Make sure that you've selected the "iCloud Music Library" option, otherwise all your Apple Music items will be disappeared from iTunes.

The media files contain imported songs, downloaded stuff and purchased items from iTunes. First, be sure the Soundtouch app is installed on your new computer. Next, confirm the new music library has been added to the Soundtouch app. If not, follow the steps within the app to add your new music library. Finally, be sure the I-Tunes or Windows Media settings on your new laptop are set to allow sharing.

If you can't find or play a song, check if you added it from Apple Music. If it came from another source, the song might be waiting to upload. Try these steps: Turn on your Mac or PC and connect it to the Internet. Open the Music app or iTunes for Windows. Keep the Music app or iTunes for Windows open so your library can finish uploading.
